to prevent battery leakage, they contain an insulating plastic strip over it.
Please remove the strip before use else the scales will not switch on.To ensure
that your reading is correct, please kindly refer to the following: 1. Clear
the scale: step on the scale with one foot until the display lights up, then
step off until the scale shows "0.0." Do this each time you are
measuring your weight. 2. Scale is placed on a hard, flat surface (tile, wood,
etc.). If it is placed on something soft (such as carpet), it will not weigh
accurately. 3. Keep your gravity in the center of the scale and your body
stable while taking measurements. 4. Try weighing first thing in the morning
(after using the restroom) and with minimal clothing to prevent deviation or
skewed readings.
